My Awesome Life

So I'd disappeared for a couple weeks again.....sorry bout that! A lot of stuff's been going on and I sort of just forgot...
I'm watching a movie called The Nun and I SWEAR the main character looks just like heather from Silent Hill 3. She's got longer hair, but it's still blond and she's got the exact same facial expressions and face shape. IT'S SO WEIRD. I almost hope they make a SH3 movie now so she can be in it!
Oh lucky me, the teachers in my district have decided to go on strike. Of course they're calling it a "work stoppage" and the school board is calling it an "illegal work stoppage" but whatever they call it, I probably won't be in school on Tuesday. While this may sound like a good thing, it's really not. I'm taking 2 AP courses, and the tests are in May. They also don't care if our teachers are on strike, the tests are in MAY, and I DON'T WANT EXTRA HOMEWORK. I also am very fond of winter break, plus I'm probably going away anyway so that means MORE EXTRA WORK. What are the teachers complaining about? Basically they're getting a 2-3% raise this year (and next) and have to teach 20 extra minutes a day for elementary schools. But they want a 3-4% raise, 100% health benefits at one point, and the old school day back. RAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRR. //end rant
In other news, our football team won 42-10 last night.

Has anyone read Frankenstein, Beowulf, or A Streetcar Named Desire? Just wondering..........

So it's summer (yay!) and I haven't been on in a couple months. Boy you guys have been busy. 122 deviations and 127 messages! I'll get working on those...
WELL. Because I am shameless and ridiculously happy, I will now brag about my AP scores! (feel free to tell me to shut up and ignore me) I have, against all odds, managed to score a 5 on both my US History and English exams! I have no idea how that happened, seeing as I made up crap for some of the essays (How am I supposed to know anything about Mexican-Americans during WWII anyway?!) and started talking about The Matrix (don't ask)....
Heh heh, the Phillies are beating the Cubs 9-1. >D
Oh, on Friday I went to Warped Tour in Camden, which was AWESOME, by the way. FREE STICKERS! AND CONDOMS! xD Oh, and I did see Less Than Jake! Sadly, though, my camera takes only 1 min of video at a time. 
I will say that they are the funniest band I have ever seen live, though. In between two songs, they were talking about crowdsurfing and how a lot more girls are doing it and out come this gem: "If you don't want your junk grabbed, STAY THE EFF ON THE GROUND!" xD I am now a fan...and need to go get some CDs.
Also at Warped Tour I was in the very front row for Scaring Kids Scaring Kids (who are awesome, go listen!) and was repeated crushed against the fence and kicked in the head by crowdsurfers. A cup of beer was also lobbed at my shoulder. But it was still fun! But then it started pouring and lightening so the concert ended early. D= Curse you weather!
On Saturday and Sunday I went to Washington DC for first time. And walked all over the place. I think I've walked 20 miles this weekend...
On another note, the Washington Monument is TALL. Seriously, you can see it from anywhere in the city.
I PROMISE tomorrow I will hunt through my camera and add more pictures!
Heh heh, the Philly Phanatic is dressed as Batman and is mocking Jack Nicholson...
Summer has also brought homework. And I don't care what anybody says, Frankenstein is a boring, stupid book. How does a book about a monster end up being full of everybody whining and crying and acting like a big baby? Even the monster mopes around! WTF?!
And does anyone know of any economic issues in the UK? And would the fact that Russia's population is shrinking count as a social issue? ><

So...I'm watching a free movie. Called Dance of the Dead. It's about zombies attacking a senior prom. Want to know how bad/hilarious it is? Well, the zombies apparently like heavy metal music...and don't attack if it's playing. Seriously, what the hell?! xD And when the zombies get chopped up the blood looks like cherry syrup and spouts out like a fountain. Ad the "heroes" just -happen- to hide out in the only funeral home in the town. It'[s pretty funny though...although I'm not sure that it's intentional. o_0
